Siempelkamp has been a major player in the development of the continuous pressing system. It first introduced its ContiRoll® press line in 1985. Since then over 150 ContiRoll® press lines have been sold. These new continuous presses are a major innovative step in achieving flexibility and greater capacity in the production of particleboard, MDF, OSB, and Waferboard.Siempelkamp has been involved in the manufacture of hydraulic presses for the wood-panel industry for many decades. It was founded in 1883, and over the course of these many years, Siempelkamp has demonstrated great flexibility and ongoing involvement in press development and innovation. Since 1956, through cooperation with well-known technology experts, Siempelkamp has furthermore been a pioneer in the engineering of complete plants , providing front-end and back-end equipment centered around its hydraulic press.
